Amber Forest

A saddened silhouette

Peering at an unknown

Vision deep inside

The fading daylight

A frown across the face

Of a misled youth,

Restless in the midst

Of an adventure forthcoming

A sweet melody

Drifts through the

Amber forest, treating me

To its haunting echo…

I look, but the youth

Is gone—

Leaving only a vague

Impression in my mind.
