Airports are the happiest and loneliest places on earth; filled with people’s tears of joy and looks of parting sorrow.
I often enjoy traveling alone. One wintry day, I did not. An irrational panic overtook me as I sat in the tiny airport lobby. I prayed for relief, but it wasn’t helping. As I began to fear having an anxiety attack, I saw welcome surprise. A close friend appeared and announced that he was taking the same flight! As if someone had waved a magic wand, my fear began to dissipate. Suddenly, I was reminded of a saying – God is always with you so you’re never alone. Apparently, that day, He saw that I needed proof.
